PFLAG (pronounced P-Flag) is “the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.”

They were founded in 1973, and have evolved significantly with the times. Their original name stands for “Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays,” but their work has been significantly more inclusive of the trans & gender-expansive community in recent times.
